As we approach our winter vacation I hope you have a wonderful week off with your children! There is no H.W. packet but they are responsible for practicing their spelling words over vacation. Also, it is the last week for them to complete their READ TO SUCCEED forms as they are due the week we return and I need to input the information. Don't forget that JUMP ROPE FOR HEART is also going on and your students can use next week to raise some funds!
I really enjoyed watching the movie Charlotte's Web last Weds.....what a great turn out and such fun! Thanks to the PTO for that great culminating activity to our One School One Book program!
Raffe report for week of 2/24:
Math: February math facts test, CH. 7 Adding two digit numbers, money (counting with $1.00)
Reader's workshop: summarizing, finishing note taking
Writer's workshop: writing informational piece about our biography person
Health: finishing Healthy Heart, Nutrition
We will have our Valentine Party on Friday afternoon, instead of Third Grade Buddies. Friday morning I will be out for a writing professional development meeting and there will be a sub.
