Reminder that our "Salute to the States" show will begin promptly at 1:45 tomorrow. Please leave time for parking, signing in , and heading down to our room. You are welcome to sign out your child(sheet in our room) after the party portion of the celebration, but must do so by 3:00 in order for buses to get ready for dismissal. Reminder that your child should wear jeans or jean shorts and their assigned color t-shirt.
We will have music in the morning (Thanks to Mrs. Reddy for switching). Younger siblings (not in school) are welcome but I ask that you refrain from getting other school age students from their classes as the room is sure to be packed and I know my colleagues are busy assessing for end of year report cards as well.
Friday I will be in school but am using my assessment day to finish assessing students and writing report cards. It will be a "low key" day for the students who have earned it after such a busy week and Mrs. McGlynn will be the substitute.
The Raffe report for the last full week in second grade:
Math: Step up to third grade preview of multiplication/division/fractions
Writing: odes, jump into a picture and where I'm from poems
Reading: comprehension passages/individual book choices
Social Studies: continued activities about our Country/states
